About Us
Dr Brian Isserow - Practice Principal
Principal Dentist. (Qualified 1979) has been practicing at Asquith Dental for over 16 years.
Brian studied dentistry at Wits University South Africa. He then came to Australia with his wife and 4 children in 1994 after running a very successful private clinic.
Brian has a passion for his dentistry, and is still amazed that, after all these years in the profession he still finds it fascinating, stating the incredible advances in technology and techniques as a major factor in sustaining this passion.
Brian’s interests apart from his passion for dentistry include all sports, photography and spending time with his family, including his grandchildren.
Dr Ashwin Nair - BDent (Hons) BMed. Sc.
Ashwin graduated with honours in Dentistry from the University of Sydney in 2010, having completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales.
He takes great pride in providing high quality dentistry, and leaving a smile on patient’s faces. In addition to interests in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, Ashwin particularly enjoys working with children.
Outside of dentistry, Ashwin loves anything to do with cars and motorsports, and supplements his motoring obsession with a keen interest in music. He plays and teaches the violin, and is an active member of a number of different bands in Sydney.
Jody Thorne - Hygienist
Jody qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Newcastle in 2009. Originally training in Canada as a certified Dental Assistant in 1988, she came to Australia in 1995.
Her belief that the “patients own original teeth are best” demonstrates a firm commitment to preventative care and oral health education.
Jody is the proud mum of two boys and loves spending time doing homework and having fun with them.
Current hobbies include reading, photography, scrap booking and almost anything involving craft.
Jody also intends on doing her honors year for dental hygiene in the near future.
