The team at Asquith Dental are dedicated to providing you with high quality oral health care in a gentle and proficient manner.
Your dental health is important to you – and it’s important to us. You wish to be kept well informed about your oral health, so let’s begin by discussing your first visit.
We have outlined what you might expect during your first visit at Asquith Dental:
- Upon arrival at the practice you will be greeted by friendly staff who will request you hand in your New Patient Form (if not already electronically completed – please click here for the new patient form) and can assist in answering any questions.
- You will have a 90 minute appointment; the Dentist will perform a Comprehensive Dental Assessment, followed by an Oral Hygiene Treatment with our Hygienist. This will include:
Comprehensive examination
- 2 check up x-rays (if required)
- Treatment planning
- Digital imaging
- Professional clean and polish
- Periodontal charting
- Oral hygiene instructions
- Fluoride application
Your medical and dental history
As a new patient we ask you to fill out a medical and dental health form while at the practice. However, for your convenience we have made it available online so you can download and print it in advance and email/fax it in or bring them into our practice for your first appointment.
All the information is held in strict confidence and will be used to assist in your dental assessment and treatment planning.

Special care for anxious patients
At Asquith Dental, your comfort is important to us. We appreciate that there are many individuals who don’t enjoy coming to the dentist and in fact can experience anxiety during dental visits. Taking this into consideration we have various options at our practice to try and cater to these needs and help you feel more comfortable.
